Il Convivio is a modern Italian restaurant spread over two floors. The German chef, Lukas Pfaff, creates interesting and innovative dishes which are served by friendly efficient staff in a rich interior of deep-red walls and exposed brick. They also have a conservatory with a retractable roof for summer dining and can cater for private parties of up to 12 people.

I thought i was fairly familiar with the restaurants in the area but had never spotted nor been here.
I was impressed by some very tasty spagetti a la bottarga. I would go backto try other dishes and recommend it to others to try.
The restaurant has an airy back section to it with a glass ceiling, which is pleasant.
On a weekday lunch-time it was exceptionally quiet, so not quite sure when it's busy time is but will have to go back to find out.

Great Italian restaurant just off the beaten track. Food is consistently excellent and made to order. One of my favourite places in the area.
