Maharaja Tandoori, also known as Mr Faroukhs, is a traditional Indian (albiet Bengali) restaurant - think sitar muic and not quite flock wallpaper.

They have a very good value £7.50 set lunch menu, three courses and coffee.

Mr Faroukh is very genial and welcoming and is known for giving out the odd drink "on the house".

It's good value and unprententious.
