Reviews for Andrea's

I went here for a large work lunch for 10 people and was disappointed with the decor, quality of food and strange, overbearing service. Considering most of the restaurants on Charlotte Street are pretty foolproof, Andrea's sticks out as a bit of a relic from the 60s, with dishes and furnishings to match. The menu is no doubt authentic but the food not especially palatable, and I've eaten better mezze at any branch of The Real Greek.

It's a shame, because I guess many agree with me in thinking that there are many finer options to be had on this street - I've noticed that Andrea's is almost empty at lunchtimes when all the other restaurants on the road are heaving...

Nice little Greek restaurant located on the always lovely Charlotte Street. The food is to a high standard - you're unlikely to leave anything less than stuffed to the gills and thoroughly satiated - and the prices are good value for a mid-range Central London restaurant. Nice simple decor and unobtrusive music help as well.

The one downside was that the service was a little, well, pushy. We were there in a large group, all arriving separately - always a tricky logistical situation, which isn't made any better by being hassled over whether they can take tables away from you. Still, the service was mostly friendly after that, and the atmosphere was generally pleasant and relaxing.

Went here for lunch with work. Service was with a smile but lady was a little OTT. Food was to a poor standard, I had a Lamb dish which didn't taste or look anything like lamb! Would not go back...

I have frequented Andreas for more years than I would care to mention. I have always enjoyed eating there for its warm atmosphere and friendly service. With the exception of one or two meals (which is not bad for the amount of times I have dined there), the food has always been exceptional and after having spent some time in Cyprus and Greece, I can say with some confidence that it is by far the best and most authentic I have had in London. I highly reccommend it.
