Situated in east Ham this place has amazing food! The masala dosa is a MUST or for those who like something simpler, try the paper roast dosa. Some recommended mouth watering starters would be the chilli paneer or a plate of idli-for to each plate. Very reasonable prices with great food!

Contrary to the name, this place doesn't just serve dosa! A dosa, by the way, is a kind of similar to a bhaji or a puri, which are both fried Indian snacks. Anyway, in Chena Dosa you can get the usual Indian fayre (pakora, naan breads, chips, etc.) as well as their crispbread dosa.

The fillings are plentiful, and you can choose from numerous mixtures (chicken, lamb, different curries, vegetable, etc.) for roughly the same price of £4 or £5. The building itself is your average London restaurant - nothing too fancy, but not run-down either. It's a pleasent enough place to go for a quick meal, although can get quite busy and therefore noisy at times, so maybe not the place for a romantic meal (even if you do both love dosas!)

The staff always act politely and are delighted to see you return as a regular, if you're unfortunate enough to become a dosa addict!

You have to try the various dosas (type of crispy rice based pancake) here! Why? They are hugely filling and for less than £5, stuffed with potatoes and various vegetables of your choice, served with a variety of sauces, are a real bargain. The service is quick and friendly.

It’s best to go at lunch time, for in the evening you´ll probably have to try to book due to huge popularity with families.

You can order a dosa to take away too, which is a great snack on the go option, and it’ll be ready within 5 minutes. Drinks are not expensive at all.
