Tucked away in a small but funky and fully licensed basement bar near Liverpool Street Station, Cheeky Pete's is now open for business, serving up extraordinary home-made burgers.

Reviews for Cheeky Pete's

Massive Burgers that provide mouth watering scrumptious tastes. LOVED IT x

Wasn't expecting anything from this place but it turned out to be one of the best restaurants I've been to. The food was fantastic and was obviously cooked by people who cared about how it was sourced and prepared. It's amazing the difference that good honest service makes too!

You will not belive the size of the burgers.Build them as high as you like.

Tucked away but well worth hunting down, Puts Ronnies and B King to shame, you would have to pay £10 plus in any of the city bars for the same meal, fantastic choice of toppings and sauces, and the good looking Hungarian "Zolly" will help you create the best burger you have ever tasted,Free refills on soft drinks. You must try one of the "Special" Vodca's I can recommend the Strawberry String.Compact with a good atmosphere try it once and you will go back.

Just on the edge of the city but well worth finding if you like your burgers stacked high this is the place for you but beware the 12oz !!! double is for the seriuos professional burger lover.John and Zoltan will guide you through the burger building process and help you select one of the American Larger or Pale Ale beers on offer ("Old Scratch" is my favorite)treat Titan IPA with care if you have to work in the afternoon, do not leave without trying one of John's sweetie Vodka's complete with frozen Jelly Baby.Great atmosphere everyone from students to city workers are made to feel very welcome, Check Cheeky's out you will not be dissapointed. Everyone I have introduced to Ceeky's has gone back again.

I work in the Aldgate area and our company was very excited when this new design your own burger joint opened up. Now I cannot fault the fact that the burgers are tasty, the concept is a little confusing to say the least you have a tick list of additions to style your burger.

The worst thing is the place is so tiny you will have chip fat smell seeping through your clothes in a matter of minutes of being there, yes even just ordering.

The place is fully licensed so you can grab a beer if you chose to sit down.

Don't agree with this, the place is great. It is small but it's homely. I had a really nice time eating there and didn't notice any smell.

I dont agree either. It is a boutique style eatery I wouldn't want it to be a massive chain size restaurant this way you see your food prepared and the georgeous smeel gets you so rilled up for the food :) It feels like home! but with the taste of the professional and I can certainly say I did not smell of chip pan when I left!

Excellent burgers burgers put together from your own choice of toppings from a nice big selection, made from organic welsh beef, what's not to like ?

The beer selection is not huge, but well chosen, some interesting choices like a surprisingly tasty chili beer.

Pete (if that was Pete behind the bar) is a true foodie, even the house wine has obviously been chosen with great care.

The decor is perhaps a bit spartan at the moment but I guess it's early days.

A hidden gem for sure.

I cannot think the decor will change much as its a tiny venue and has been open for some time now. The burgers may be good but the horrendous chip fat smell means even going in for a takeaway you risk smelling of chip fat for the rest of the day.

Make the effort to go a little out of your way to find this place... it is simply excellent.

The burgers are amazing, the guy behind the bar (Pete?!) is completely devoted to every single last burger that crosses his counter and the lure of all manner of beer to wash it all down with is just too good to miss.

This place is headed for a true cult following...

Cheeky Pete's rather boldly claims to serve stunning burgers. They are indeed stunning. Beautifully presented, they taste every bit as good as they look. Best of all, you design them yourself. They don't have a menu, you just select the toppings and sauces you want from a pretty comprehensive list and they do the rest.

I was very impressed and have been back since several times with different friends, all of whom loved the experience.

I thoroughly recommend this place. Amazing burgers and a great vibe. The prices are pretty cool too. They charge £5 for a burger, regardless of your choice of toppings!

It can't be long before Cheeky Pete's becomes a common sight on evey high street in the UK!

The BEST burger you will have in town!!!!
and at very good prices.

One of the hidden gems in London.
