Bit of a squeeze
Tables are far to close to each other so don't come here for a discrete meal.
The fish is always fresh and well prepared stick to simple dishes like dressed crab and a dover soul meuniere and you will not be disappointed.
The wine list is good if on the expensive side.
I cannot think of many better fish restaurants in London.

Seafood with Class
J.Sheekey is a classy seafood restaurant located just near Leicester Square. It belongs to the same group that owns the The Ivy restaurant, and is something a little special. My husband arranged a surprise dinner there for my birthday one year, and we both enjoyed our evening immensely.
There was a large choice of seafood dishes, with meat dishes also available. The wine list was also good. Service was excellent - some of the best we have had in recent years, and all the food we ate was really delicious.
We shared a starter of Grilled Razor Clams with broad beans and Chorizo - I had never had razor clams before, but I am now a convert! For main course we had the Grilled Dover Sole, and the Monk Fish & Tiger Prawn Curry. Desserts were very tasty - a delicious Creme Brulee, and best of all, Honeycomb Ice cream, served with a warm chocolate sauce - evil!
