A friend and I went to Minqala restaurant on Thursday evening. When we arrived, there were a number of people eating in the restaurant and 3 or 4 empty tables. We were told by staff that there were no tables available for us. We went to the pub directly opposite where we were able to observe that no customers entered the restaurant or sat at the empty tables over the next half an hour or so. We feel that we were discriminated against and were not welcome in this restaurant.

This was the best Iraqi food I've had outside my mothers house. Everything from the iraqi bread to the main courses was so well cooked. And the people who worked there was really friendly. Not too expensive and the food is simply delicious! If you haven't tryed iraqi cousine you have to definitely go for this restaurant.

This is a lovely little Iraqi restaurant hidden in the back streets off the Edgware Road near Marble Arch. The food is simple but delicious. My four year old daughter is addicted to their Chicken Taouk - boneless grilled chicken with rice. Bread and salads are fresh, and portions are generous. Service is prompt and friendly.

I live locally and have tried most of the local middle-eastern places. In my experience, the food at Minqala is as good if not better than its bigger and better known neighbours...and its prices are definitely more reasonable.

I have heard of this Iraqi restaurant, it's great to read a review. I must go check it out.
