Reviews for Rosa's
Thanks for all the kind things you've said about Rosa's. We are flattered. One thing to note is that our licence came through towards the end of 2008 so we are no longer "a bring your own booze" restaurant. Alex & Saiphin
Go if you can, its a lovely place, lovely food, and honest prices! I go as much as I can,, and always take friends who love it too.
Went to Rosa's on a recommendation and it was all it was cracked up to be! Food was delicious (personal favourite was the Salmon), atmosphere was friendly, vibrant and non-pretentious and it was reasonably priced.
Shall certainly be returning!
Hi there, this was my first experience of trying thai food, and i'm glad to say i wasn't disappointed! I’m so glad the staff at Rosa’s were so friendly, approachable and were so keen to answer all of my questions! One of them took me through the menu step by step and made a number of recommendations! When he food arrived both myself and my partner were surprised at the quantity. The quality of the food was really high and the taste and flavour was exceptional. The ambiance of Rosa’s was also nice. We would definitely advise you to try them! We’ll definitely be going back.
I have to say this restaurant is excellent. I was a little skeptical as I do not generally like Thai food, but after eating here, I have been converted. I generally am not a big fan of the coconot taste of Thai food, but here, the food was quite simply delicious. It also looks quite a modern place. Although the decor is quite simple, I think it looks quite cool and trendy, in today's language! The service was top notch, and the prices were reasonable as well in my opinion. I also found the wines in this place to be very nice. I would heartily recommend this restaurant to everyone and would give it a score of eight out of ten. If you like Thai food, go here!
Just visited this fab new restaurant and from the moment I crossed the threshold I knew that it was going to be great. The decor is simple yet stylish and elegant and the food was tasty and fresh, beautifully presented, with generous portions at a reasonable price. I am a huge fan of Thai food and Rosa's is now my restaurant of choice.
I love this place. It's modern Thai food at its best - fresh, imaginative and absolutely delicious. It's an intimate restaurant which is just overflowing with charm - not least from the owner Saihpin who is a sweetheart. I highly recommend the lamb satay starter - yum!
Update - visited for lunch on Friday with four colleagues, all who subsequently rated Rosa's their new favorite Thai restaurant.
Fully justifies its place in Time Out's Top 50 in London!
Sadly, we didn't see any of the celebrities now rumoured to frequent Rosa's....
We'd heard about Rosa's through friends and were keen to try it out. So we visisted with four friends on Saturday night - it had just received its license so it made for a great evening out. The decor really matched the location and style.... Saihpin the the owner/manager acted as our host and gave some great recommendations from her menu. For starters we shared her signature Fresh Spring Rolls, Lamb and Fish Satay and spicy prawns. These were an excellent introduction and we couldn't wait to try the main courses. We chose the special seafood curry with squid, scallops and prawns, rack of lamb in Thai sauce (there aren't many sheep in Thailand so this is a "fusion" dish), Chicken & Cashew nuts, Duck Curry and a mix of vegetables and rice. It all arrived very promptly and proved as excellent and fresh as we'd been led to believe.
The food was complemented by a short wine list and a nice Pinot Grigiot was enyoyed by all.
Saiphin then treated us to a Mango and sweet rice desert.
We all agreed that it had been a great meal, lovely food with prompt and friendly service - and look forward to returning soon with other friends to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

This place is fantastic. I almost do not want to write a review as it may get popular and this would spoil the charm of the place. The food was fantastic I recommend the fried seabass. Also worth noting that it is a bring your own booze restaurant
