Reviews for Classic Tandoori Indian Restaurant
I love spicy Indian food recently I discover this place through www.thisislondon.co.uk from the Evening Standard, Restaurant critic Fay Maschler recommended this place, that tempted me to order a takeaway delivery from them Wow, what can I say about this place. The food is simply stunning, top top quality at a great price (especially the ‘Chicken Kushbu’ very aromatic flavoured), and a nice change from the standard "British curry house" fare. Great value for money .The portions were a good size and we were not left feeling hungry at all!
Would definitely go back and recommend others
I just love this place! It is only down the road but sometimes being lazy I go here as I am guaranteed good foods! Sometimes people might say that this place is not always busy, therefore not that great. I think because people go to other more established places and have not given Classic Tandoori a chance. They really don't know what they are missing. The food is excellent. They do a varied menu where their dishes are unlimited. They also tailor your food to accommodate your palate. This is my favorite of the many Indian restaurants in the area just because the menu is so different to anywhere else round there, but if you're after a jalfrezi or madras then this is the place
We were recommended this restaurant by our neighbour when my family first moved in London. We have been ordering takeaway from them since a year now, the staff have been polite and efficient. We have tried a range of dishes and the food has always been exceptionally tasty cooked with very little oil and price is very reasonable. It was just like a takeaway I used to go to in our home Town in Surrey. Honestly, I don't know how we got so lucky to live so close to my favourite Indian place in London
We've only ordered home delivery from this restaurant as it's not in the near vicinity but it hasn't disappointed. Our favourites are lamb rogan josh, butter chicken, fish jalfrezi and tandoori wings mopped up with garlic naan and pilau rice. The butter chicken does have a sheen of oil on the top. The food tastes so good yet so cheap we're happy to keep ordering from them whenever we crave a good Indian feed at home.
