We went twice to Langan's Coq d'Or and both times we loved it. The cuisine tends a lot on the French side but a touch of English cuisine makes the food really unique.

The wines are good too - We had an excellent New Zealand red last time we went and we keep talking about it!

We really like it AND prices are reasonable.

When I used to live round the corner, Le Coq d'Or was a regular haunt on a summer's eve. We'd sit at the bar being plied with crisps by the waiters. Ate here with my parents and the waiters made a real fuss of them, which was really cool.
