Reviews for St. Moritz Restaurant

as it happens it seems to be Venison month at the St. Moritz restaurant and i was invited by a good friend for dinner to try the - as he put it 'very best venison dish ever' - - all i can say he did not lie - i want to have that saddle of vension everyday from now onwards....unfortunately the season only last during November but my friend said to try the cordon bleu next time which is as per Tom also world class. thanks Tom

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

They yell at customers if they don't return the table in 2 hours, and literally kick you out of the restaurant. I am actually scared to go back to this restaurant. Never thought people could do this to customers!

Food was in bad quality, cheese fondue was like a liquid!

AVOID!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that the décor is a little special and adds a certain degree of charm to the place, but the service, quality of food and price let it down massively. Firstly, the members of staff are pushy and, if you are in a group, they do that old trick of adding extra portions onto your order, even though you didn't ask for them, nor do you have room to eat them. Also, during our visit, the members of staff weren't that friendly and, as a result, we decided not to leave the full 12.5% service charge that had been added to the bill. It clearly stated on the bill that it was ‘optional’, so we left probably around 7% of the total bill. On leaving, one of the ‘friendly’ waitresses bullied one of our group, the last one to leave the restaurant, into coughing up the rest of the 12.5% service charge - they were not aware that it was marked as ‘optional’ on the receipt. This soured the whole evening, more so than the very average, and yet over-priced, tasting food. I had bratwurst from the specialities menu. It was a large sausage, which tasted okay, in onion gravy – dull. There are so many nicer places to eat in the area, so I urge you all to avoid this place.
