We went as a group of 20 with no booking, the place was busy but they squeezed us in on a saturday afternoon. Service was great, food fab although their pizzas are way better then the pastas. Great tables out side on the balcony if its just a few of you for views of the dock & people watching.

Well- first of all there isn't really something special about the pub- it is mainly the area which is truly a beauty...
we had some beers and a nice pizza with 3 types of cheese for £14. great when you can sit outside.
quite a friendly atmosphere.

One dark and rainy evening in Feburary 2007 two friends of mine and me chose the Dickens Inn as the place to get our bellies filled.

The building dates back to the 18th century when it was originally a spice warehouse. After massive renovations it opened as Dickens Inn in 1976. It is home to three different restaurants.

Eventually we decided for the "Pizza on the Dock" on one of the upper floors. The wooden interior is flanked by small balconies facing St Katharine's Dock. They have a huge selection of pizzas which come in various sizes. We opted for the Vegetarian and Toscana Pizza and shared them by three. The pizzas were delicious and reasonably priced.

LOCATION:
The Dickens Inn is located at the eastern end of St Katharine's Dock. The nearest tube station is Tower Hill.
