I think the first review was written by the management!

We have been here half a dozen times and find the food a very pleasant change from the usual generic rubbish served by Indian restaurants. Its nice to be able to eat good quality regional cooking.

My only negative is that the service is often 'rushed', especially if you go on Friday or Saturday. its not the kind of place to linger - you get the impression that they are more interested in turnover of seats.

I think you refer to the wrong one. There is one cochin in north london. This one is new and was not busy even on fridays when they started. Now that they are getting busier after they have been discovered by locals. They are even rated on the website putneysw15.com as the best.I have been there couple of times en the staff never seems to be rushing at all.We never had the impression that they were interested on turnover of seats.I totally disagree to what you have said on that.
