Reviews for Kaslik

Booked here for a friend birthday. There were about 20 of us that went and took over most of the basement! The seats were low to the floor and it was extremely cosy. The music was great and the atmosphere fantastic. It makes such a different from the typical restaurant. We ordered the meze menu per person and we thought the starters were the main course! Lots of food- all extremely good. When the mains turned, we weren't sure where to start. The food was brilliant. We then ordered their lebanese shots- not recommended for the light hearted! At the end of the meal we had a belly dancer performing for the group. It was a fantastic evening and I would recommend booking the basement in large groups!

A really friendly, tasty and comfy place in the heart of soho serving great food and smooth shisha.

The menu isn't huge but it's certainly good stuff - the mezze plates to share are highly recommended! £26 and easily enough for two hungry people.

If shisha is your thing then this is one of the best places I've found for it in london - really smooth shisha and a great view sat outside watching soho life pass you by!

I actually booked this place by accident, not remembering the name of Maison Touaregue just down the road, which is a great place.

I'm all for lounging around on cushions but the seats were so uncomfortable. Mezze for two was a bunch of dishes that all tasted the same. Hoummous blah, vine leave blah, other stuff blah.

Thanks - unfortunately there are too many of this "passing trade" places around.

We booked a table for a Saturday night to celebrate a big birthday, and were not a huge group. We got to the restaurant at the time we had booked for to be told they had double booked (they did not try to call to let us know), despite the fact that we had booked a week or so in advance. We ended up waiting for an hour before we could get in. Inside, the restaurant is very cramped, we were stuck on a table in the corner next to the kitchen, due to the access to the toilets being close by, the seating was pretty unsociable for a group. Food was mediocre, there are better places to go, service was, for London on a saturday night, poor, and the prices are not that cheap. Whilst the atmosphere was good, the bad experience and feeling let down will ensure I do not go back to this place...

Great ambience. Delicious meze. Good value. Heart of Soho
