More Moorers!
There is something of a 'theme park' disney feel to this venue but judging by the the happy, smiling staff and clients, the theme works.
I was on a strictly liquid diet when visiting prescribed by my doctor so stuck to the cocktail menu and sampled several which were prepared, as if by magic, right in front of me.
As usual in the best pharmacies the concoctions are put together by the chief chemist, who in this case was a very very charming lady who mesmerized me further with her beguiling smile....pure alchemy.
Belly dancers perform here every evening, join the dance, it adds to the fun.

Passion for Pasha?...
Wow what fabulous decor and atmosphere - a real place for the beautiful people to hang out, chill out and be well beautiful (or maybe thats just the subtle low lighting that is set to 'most flattering')! A nice contrast to the general greyness of Gloucester Road.
Amel's review astutely mentioned the bathrooms and these are well worth a trip if only to take in the bathroom decor and general ambience.
Generally this is a venue that is packed to overfull, that gives it a really friendly and 'busy' vibe. The Morrocan menu is not that imaginative, but food is produced with relish, although one does wonder whether all the imagination has been put into the decor rather than producing really exciting eats!
This is a wealthy area and the clientale do have a certain panash with tendency for the try (too) hard perma tans that accentuate the flicking of hair extensions (male and female alike). And these are the perfect accompaniment for the 'exclusive' upstairs bar area and rather pricey cocktail list! despite the cost there are some imaginative mixes here that are well worth an indulgence!
In the face of all its prentensions its hard not to like this place. Perhaps its the vibrant feeel of the place, or friendliness of the staff, but with the open kitchen and chance to take pleasure from what other people have orderd around you, you'll be hard pressed not to order most of the menu!
I indulged in a wonderful array of thoughtfully pre be-headed charcoal grilled king prawns, roasted vegetables, dips, oils and breads. Incidently their harissa is great!
Overall this is a place where looks matter, so dress to impress, enjoy the sumptuous surroundings and general decadent vibe and you'll have fun!

Great Atmosphere, Terrible Food
If you are into Moroccan food, you should not eat here. It's great for visitors, tourists and those lookig for a show (the belly dancers are a nice touch), and the ambience is great, with decor you would expect. But this is a formula restaurant. It's the 'Moroccan experience' for newbies. The food and menu choices are limited so they can get as many people fed as quickly as possible, and it shows in the preparation. If you've never eaten moroccan before, you won't know any different.

Romantic Setting for Great Cocktails
I have a love-hate relationship with Pasha.
I love going there but everytime I go I feel a little heartbroken that I can't get my bathroom to look just as elegant and perfect as Pasha's. I know its a restaurant review and I'm supposed to talk about the food but if you saw their toilets you would understand. Basins filled with roses, soft lighting, golden elaborate mirrors and handles. In fact the entire restaurant is divinely elegant and exoticly seductive. Warm red colours, golden drapes, rose petals EVERYWHERE! even on your napkin when you sit for dinner. It is just a beautiful place and quite discretely tucked away behind its large carved wooden doors you wouldn't notice it walking by.
There are two sections here, upstairs and downstairs. Meals are served downstairs, drinks and starters upstairs.
I've only had a meal here once and found it to be hugely overpriced (set menu was about 35 per person) and although the food tasted good I didn't feel that the flavours were entirely loyal to traditional Moroccan cuisine and some dishes had been anglocised.
For me I think it's a great place to go for an intimate drink with friends. It's cosy and has a very warm feel and the cocktails are great! I love the Pasha Lemonade with or without vodka equally delicious. You can order a tray of sweets (desserts), fresh fruit platter or nuts to go with it, some olives or a choice of the kemia (a few more filling nibbles and starters).
I don't think I would go there or dinner again. Not because the food isn't good, it is. But I feel there are better places to go for a Moroccan meal. However this place is one of my first choices for a mint tea and drinks after work or before a night out. The music is Arabic and Latin with two belly dancers at 10-11 who are sure to get you in the mood for a long night of hip shaking!

Lavish Moroccan Experience
Pasha is an opulently decorated Moroccan restaurant located on Gloucester Road. From the moment you enter and smell the tangy incense you will feel as though you have been transported to an elegant Riad in the heart of Marrakech. Descend to the restaurant area, with its padded seating, pretty low-lit lamps and scattered rose petals. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to sit in one of the small private alcoves to enjoy your meal.
The food is fabulous - try the tasting menu for a real taste of Morocco. This menu starts with a variety of hot and cold 'Kemia'. Our favourites where the Zaalouk - Roast aubergine puree with cumin & coriander, and the Salata Bard - Beetroot, cinnamon & honey salad. There is also plenty of great bread - perfect for smearing the aubergine on.
Main course was Sniwat Al Laham - Char grilled marinated lamb and chicken skewers, served on a tomato and coriander salad. The meat was perfectly cooked and the salad made the ideal accompaniment.
Make sure you save room for dessert. There was the Sniwat Fawakih - Fresh fruit platter with honey blossom, and also a platter of Turkish delight, baklawa, and pistachio nuts. And best of all, a large pot of delicious mint tea.
Later in the evening there are even belly dancers to entertain you!
