This was the second time i went to RossoPomodoro and i have to say its been great both times. I haven't ben to the one in Fulham but to the one in Monmouth street covent garden. I think the building used to be one of the many chinese paces in the area......
The waiters are friendly and know about the menu. The pizzas are excellent and really remind me of what you get in those little pizzerie in Italy. You can tell they import most of the ingredients as the pizzas taste authentic...this place is not like a pizza express!!
A pizza will set you back about £9 and pasta about the same which is not ridiculus for this part of town
The only slightly negative thing for a non italian speaker is the menu is pretty much in Italian so if you're not familiar with those rural cheeses some of the ingredients will appear to be alien but the waiters will gladly help you through it.....
If you need somewhere to go pre theatre than i would highly recommend this place
Great food, one of the most extensive menus I have seen in a long time, and everything on it sounds delicious... A huge selection of salads, seafood and wait till you see the Pizza menu! The starters are unusual but wellworth the try, as are the deserts! First time to try a Nutella Tiramisu - sounds strange at first, but it is divine and melts in your mouth. And, don't forget the coffee! These guys fly in the water from Naples - to ensure that the quality of their coffees (and their pizza dough - i am being told) is top-notch. And it shows.. Can't wait to go back. If you are looking for a quieter place to have dinner, ask for a table upstairs...Enjoy!
