Reviews for Megan's Delicatessen
My boyfriend and I went to megans for breakfast. The cafe is really nice and has a nice little garden, we were glad we found it. Bhe service was very disapointing. Firstly we ordered drinks that never came, 45 mins later only one breakfast arrived and still no drinks! My boyfriend mentioned this to the staff who just didn't seem to care -- no apology. They were rude and surly. The food, when it came, was OK, but lukewarm. If the service was good and the food was hot it would be a great great cafe, but i just felt it was really frustrating. Another thing that annoyed me was that on the menu it says a 12.5% Discrectionary service charge will be added. When we went to pay we were not asked if we wanted to pay it, as we didnt, and they even had a jar saying 'lovely tips please', which we thought was just greedy. So on the whole it's rubbish service that lets this place down big time.
Have been going to Megans now for about 4 years, usually once a fortnight or so, megans is a really nice deli with very friendly staff who know me and always make me welcome, the dining area is small and friendly and the back courtyard is great on sunny days, Simple breakfasts to various ranges of salads through to Fish and meat platters and full blown meals, always good , always reliable and not too pricey. Nice feeI, have taken many friends to visit who love it and return on their own..... highly recommend
I went to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with my girlfriend and came back with food poisoning. The coffees were horrible and the cake we had was not good. The staff were unfriendly and didn't even have a drinks menu. This place was also massively overpriced. I would give this place zero stars but unfortunately this is not possible. Am definitely never going back.
A wonderful oasis in the middle of the boring bit of the Kings Road between Worlds End and Parsons Green. Great coffee and pastries. A nice selection of freshly made hot and cold lunches, and the real triumph, especially in the summer is the garden at the back. Worth a trip from anywhere, but perfect if you are in the area, and an easy way to avoid all the tat in Fulham Broadway just walk 5 minutes further south and go to Megan's.
Megan’s is a cute little coffee / delicatessen shop. They have a nice outdoor area which is wonderful in the summer. There coffee is tasty and they have a large selection of cakes to go with it.
At Megan’s you can also find cheese and savoury items, charcuterie, and fine other continental products such as olive oil, wine... etc.
Megan’s is great for a nice relaxing stop with quality food. If you’d like to avoid a coffee chain then I’d recommend Megan’s delicatessen.
