  Good value, nice environment

  Jim Thompson's offers very good value thai-like food in a very nice environment. It has a bar/gastro-pub area by the entrance with comfortable seating and a chatty barman. The bar has its own limited menu where you can pick from some of the more popular dishes from the restaurant to reduced prices.
  
  In the summer there is a seating area in a smaller garden at the back and also at the front (not sure why anyone would want to sit along the south circular, but maybe if the sun is out, why not?)
  
  The restaurant itself is in the back and has a more extensive menu with some tasty and interesting south east asian dishes.
  
  I am however mainly giving Jim Thompson's a 4 star review because of the good value meals you can enjoy in the comfortable bar area.

  Jim Thompson´s Thai Restaurant, bar and bazaar offers the best from both the East and Western worlds. 

  JT´s is inspired by the legendary, charismatic character of Jim Thompson, a brilliant American who lived in Thailand and was famous for his entrepreneurial skills, his lavish hospitality, ebullient personality and famous collection of Thai silks & artefacts.

  The vibrant, warm, welcoming, and relaxed interiors are brilliantly enhanced by the hanging bazaar of genuine oriental artefacts suspended from the ceilings and artfully placed around the room all of which are for sale and they not only welcome, but encourage their customers to haggle and buy from the bazaar.

  Jim Thompson´s offers unbeatable value, an exotic blend of oriental dishes made from the finest fresh ingredients, prepared and cooked to order, impressive oriental cocktails and a great variety of cool beers and all the fun of the bazaar.

  Without fail Jim Thompson´s is always great fun to dine at and the food is always out of this world!
