Reviews for Curry Palace
It's a good place, Iv'e been there a couple of times with me mates, and we have enjoyed it immensely. Had a great meal and then went outside for some shisha, they have a nice ambiance, and it's easy to just start a converstation with someone from another table.
4.0 out of 5 What is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of the best Indian restaurant, situated seconds away from Hyde Park, offering a delicious and vast typical Indian cuisine, accompanied by a friendly and outstanding customer service, and for an affordable price? Answer: Curry Palace.
There I always take SAAG PANEER, amazing dish made from spinach and cottage cheese(they have a long list of other vegetarian dishes...), for which they are the undisputed Masters.
Also the Chef's Specials (Butter Chicken, Chicken Masala, Lamb Pasanda...), the Tandoori marinated dishes, Karahi dishes, Rices, Naan Breads and starters are simply extraordinary. Whatever you've ordered, you made the right decision.
Besides the restaurant then, they have a Shisha corner. They also do Home delivery, and they are quite speedy, which is great during the week if you feel too tired from a long day of work.
Try it, and you will start going there regularly...
well good food service was very good compare to the area which is very busy and one thing advised for local customer is to tell the waiter how spicy you like as we have been there quite few times and first time we had food was not as spicy as you get outskirt of london so if you like your food hot tell them as they will make it to your request but ambiance was very good ....
i will recomand
After the friendly welcome our experience rapidly went down hill, our main courses were awful and definetly did not contain breast meat, and the bill at the end was the ring sting in the tail, as something of a curry conniseur i have to give this dive a massive thumbs down.
My wife and I had gone down to london for the weekend and ended up staying in bayswater. Walking around the are showed us that there were a lot of restaurant choices to be had. My wife is an indian food fanatic , so we decided to try out two of the closest ones. the first one was mediocre at best, but Curry palace blew us away, the staff were so helpfull and the food was absolutely fantastic.
They told us about the best ways to get from baywater to cental london, even going as far as printing out a travel map for us.
I found that all their meats were superbly prepared, and the skewers were real sizzlers. The shashlik was better than we get up North, so I was very happy.
We will be visiting again when we go back to london, this restaurant really made our weekend.
I had heard about this restaurant from a friend of mine, she highly recomended it. I phoned up to make a booking, and a couple of days later my friends and I held a birthday party there. All I can say was that it was a great choice. the waiters are friendly and very helpful, they even went out and bought the bithday cake so that I wouldn't have to.
The food was great and all of it was really fresh, the Nan breads smelled really good and my Chicken tikka masala tasted wonderful.
I have further recomended Curry palace to my other friends who are looking for a really fun place.
Go here at your own risk..
Here is my experience
Went with a friend, sullen waiters who dont want to pay any attention to you, curries that tasted and smelled like they were spoilt,.
Aftereffects - My friend was hospitalised for sever abdominal pains, they had to pump out the food, the problem - spoilt meat in the curries, they told me he was lucky he survived cause, it could have been severe..
I suffered from diaheria and dizziness for 1 week..
I am in the process of putting a legal case on this restaurant..
Horrible place..

I had a terrible experience in that place and I do NOT recommend it at all.
First of all: the service is terrible; so slow and the waiter was too arrogant.
Also, they serve food that is not the same as internationally known. I requested Dahl Makkani, and I got a weird dish, and when I complained, they told me this is our version!!!
The food is not value for money as well.
To summarize, simply, Do NOT go there !!!
hmm, well well, i ve been der and i must say d decor is expansive and feels like a hall or a darbar of a maharaja, i really loved the ambience, if u got indian gurls in ur kitty neat place to hit on deck, apart from dat i felt well the shisha was not done properly for me the service took too long, i like my idea of havin sheesha wid kebabs, and the shisha and lamb kebabs were good here, but d serving size for d plate left me wanderin as i really felt it wasnt too fair, that kept me not tryin to experiment too much cuz i was in a mood for fish and went for d chicken tikka masala which was priced fairly, truly nice, trust worthy place but d prices might pinch u a bit. cheers
hope u find this review useful.
