Reviews for Les Trois Garcons

just loved it!

really nice food, great atmosphere, excellent service..

nothing to complain about..

It is not for a regular night out but you should definitely go on a special occassion.
Little bit pricey but it's worth it!

Unique interior, perfect service, music exactly as it should be, food very very good. It is the place you have to go for a special accasion.

We went to Les Trois Garçons for our company Christmas dinner. The place is really unique and the food is great.

However, they are let down by the service. Our waiter used a fake French accent all night, even though he didn't speak a word of French. When questionned he revealed he was from Suffolk!

Also during the dinner, all waiters kept banging our chairs and that was probably the most annoying thing.

Finally, if you need to go to the loo, you may just as well go next door, as they have only one cubicle which seemed to be always occupied that night.

All in all, this is a really nice restaurant. A bit pricey, but the food is excellent. Shame the waiters are so useless (though the fake accent made us laugh a lot with allusion to the French resistance in Allo Allo).

This French restaurant is so unique in it’s style, the interior is amazing and beautifully coordinated to create a theatrical ambience. It’s expensive so a visit should probably be saved for a special occasion, but there is no doubt that the world of Le Trois Garcons is impressive.

just about my favourite for a special occasion. although somewhat a victim of its own popularity; the food remains spectacular and the ambiance is certainly one-of-a-kind. the seared foie gras in particular is do die for. only criticism is how difficult it is to get a table and price- hard to escape for under £100pp with decent wine- but what do you expect?

Top food in very uniquely decorated restaurant.

A good venue for a romantic dinner for two as well as a place to come with a group of friends.

Good ingredients well prepared.

Glamour dinning , food is great but its the decore that makes this place . its a great place to start but dont forget they have a bar around the back called lounge lovers which is so cool that madonna had her birthday here , oh and the cocktails are great too

A gastro gem in Bethnal Green, mostly frequented by couples on a romantic evening. The interior is beautifully kitsch & chaotic, the food is exquisite but a little pricey, definitely a place for special occasions.

'beautiful, kitsch' AND 'chaotic' my three main criteria for a drinking den. not sure about the stuffed animals though...

I have been trying to summon up the right occasion to eat at Les Trois Garcons. In the end my first visit coincided with my fellow dinner's birthday, as my guest. This well-placed act of generosity did not go unrewarded. I'm still living off the gastronomic credit generated during that evening.

Starting with cocktails in the bar adjacent to the restaurant and in marked contrast to the magical surroundings, our evening got off to a low key start. The decor in this East End ex-boozer could be described as Elle Decoration meets regional auction room, styled by Steptoe and Son. Unlike its eclectic styling, the restaurant's menu is well-balanced, the food is beautifully served and again surprisingly low key.

There are some challenging combinations on the menu, handled successfully. Les Trois Garcons is most definitely a special occasion restaurant, the food is memorable and perfectly complemented by the wine list. I'm going to be making another visit quite soon. Someone else may have to pay though.

Amazing interior that's exotic, lush and unexpected. Service is perfect although the food isn't. Pricey for what you get and yet still wonderful to look at. A perfect hang out for models and those who don't eat.
