Have to agree ladies!! I was taken for a first date to No1 City Road and I have to tell you, that night I fell in love! Unfortunately my affection took to the restaurant and not the guy!! I completely love the atmosphere and couldn't have asked for better service..I will be continuing my love affair with No.1 City Road for the forseeable future!! xxx

Fantastic service, great atmosphere and even better food!
What more could you ask for?!

Last week myself and a girlfriend had reservations at a reatuarant (I won't mention any names!) but they double booked us so we decided to try somewhere new and came accross No.1 City Road. I was delighted that our evening had turned out better than we had intially expected. The service we received was great and the food was absolutely fantastic. Definately a place you should check out!

I decided to pop down to a new restaurant that i heard about through a colleague on city road. I turned up at No.1 City road and was surprised at this modern restaurant and its classy feel. I expected the prices to be pretty high was was pleasantly surprised as i felt the food was well valued. I had a salmon starter and duck main course with a cherry chocolate desert and naturally a few glasses of wine to wash it down with! I really enjoyed the meal and found that the staff were very helpful and friendly. After my meal i even decided to stay at the bar for a few more drinks. (The wine was going down a little too well)
The staff were very chatty and social although busy.

No complaints witht he bill and i even got given a flyer on my way to the restaurant which gave me a glass of wine free.. bonus!

All in all...I will be visiting again. (Hopefully on a date next time!)
