If you want a cheap place to fill up your stomach then this is the place to be. But if you want anything that resembles decent food, then go as far as you can. They advertise something like 15 dishes which sounds really good and promising. But what you really honestly get is dishes of onions and cabbage with little specks of whatever it claims to be, be it fish, chicken, beef etc. Although I must say, this chicken wings are cooked to perfection, and being in a group of guys, having the 5th full plate of chicken wings (as the only decent thing there), we were given the "stares" by the staff there. Never again I'm afraid.

I first discovered Mr Wu while looking for a cheap place to eat around Leicester square - no easy feat these days! As I don't generally frequent chinese restaurants I thought the food on offer was good and adequate, although I couldn't understand why they were also serving massses of chips, as this is obviously not a staple in chinese cooking! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, but after coming back a few times I got a bit bored as the selection really isn't all that great and if you're a vegetarian you're a bit stuck for choice. Try and don't go too late in the evening as well, as they don't top up much at night so you might end up with the leftovers - not a pretty sight. Good if you're in a hurry and on a budget.

Had the misfortune after seeing Love in the Time of Cholera. Here I learned the meaning of that film.

mr wu is cheap, but the food is up to standard. the waiter/tress are very kind and make sure any empty plates are taken swiftly away and any queries delt with. at times it can be busy but there are plenty around leciester square to go to. there is limited food and at different resturants serve different food. even though the food is limited the food is tasty, fresh, hot and can suite everyones tastes, as it has a little bit of everything. its a must to try. since my first time their i never go to any over chinese buffet as this is gd food gd value and gd service!
