The first Wagamama noodle bar opened in 1992, near the British Museum in Central London, and was immediately a success. With several noodle bars in London and now nationwide, Wagamama offers a fast efficient service in a clean and modern environment.

Fast-food Japanese
Wagamama's is, of course, the Japanese-styled fast-food chain restaurant where you all share long wooden tables, the waiting staff scribble your orders on the paper placesettings and the food comes quick. I have to say, having eaten numerous times at various Wagamama restaurants, that I find them very impersonal. The food is literally thrown in front of you, many of the menu items can be a little bland and the busy, large restaurants are too bright and noisy. I also don't find the food to be particularly good value for money. This is definitely not a place to bring a date when searching for romance, nor is it a place to come for a quiet, relaxing, civilized dinner. It is, however, pretty handy if you are a little tipsy, are with a large group of friends and want to eat something non-greasy quickly and efficiently.

Good food, cheap...
Should try their frech fruit juice (Apple one is the best)
