Reviews for Me Love Sushi
I had been enjoying Me Love Sushi up until a few weeks ago.
I discovered a piece of hair wrapped up in a piece of sushi - not exactly what you are hoping for when you are chowing down on your dinner. The response from MeLoveSushi was to be honest pretty poor overall. I promptly left a voicemail at the telephone number provided. NOBODY got back to me. It was only when my husband complained in the restaurant over a week later that someone bothered to phone a week after that. So two weeks after my initial complaint. Although I was eventually called by their outside help for hygiene standards, I felt disappointed in their reaction to the situation. Nobody likes to find hair in their food.
They sent me 2 £5 vouchers (terms of vouchers - one per order). I was disappointed with the amount as I found it to be a little cheeky that the vouchers were intended to be use on two different meals. The idea of complaining crossed my mind but to be honest with the poor service first time round - it would be next month that someone actually got back to me.
I tried to order food this evening... The website states that restaurant is open from 11am-11pm. After looking at the time we thought it would be fine to order. Our order goes through saying it will be delivered within the next hour. The order clearly says that it was processed at 10.55pm. I get a phonecall from a girl at Me Love Sushi saying the order cant go through as the order is after 11pm and there will be a cheque issued to refund the order. We checked the time and saw it was within the 11pm cut off time. We called back & spoke to the "manager" he informed us that the girl did not say "that there would be a cheque issued" and the money would be refunded. So he is calling us a liar about what the girl said. His reason was "chefs had already gone home". Still worried about refund of the order.
Advice to MeLoveSushi - sort out your website so it says last orders before 10.30pm. DO SOME CUSTOMER TRAINING.
I have now been totally put off by their service at Me Love Sushi.
I would warn other diners - check your food before you bite into it!!!
The office often gets takeaway for lunch from here. The service is quick, so whoever go to collect it isn't wasting their lunch hour waiting and the food is always great and makes an good alternative to sandwiches.
They have quite a wide choice of food, so everyones tastes are catered for. Although i have tried different things i am afraid i can never realise my favourite prawn skewers and salmon noodles, always hits the spot!
Oh what to choose, i can never decide!
The noodles and rice are good, especially if your hungry. The miso soup is good for cold, wet London days and the sushi and salads are good all year round! And everything offers good value for money. One thing i have to order everything i go is the vegetable dumplings, there to die for!
It's a fun place to go, specially for a group of you as its informal and fun and if anyone is late, they can easily order once they get there and join you at your table.
Sometimes once we've finished eating we'll move into the bar which has a really chilled out, friendly atmosphere where everyone can relax after there food.
I almost can't wait for winter to come again so i can have the miso soup, it's really comforting if you've got a cold. Their noodle bowls taste really good and are good value for money, as they really fill you up. They also let you take away which is good if your catching lunch on the move.
Though whenever i've been the service has always been quick and the staff are helpful too. So if you are in a hurry you can get in, sit and eat and get out again fairly quickly.
Worth a try
I'm trying to lose weight ready for my summer holiday, so was a bit concerned about going out to dinner with some friends (my will power is crap!)
But when we got here i realised that i could eat well and still be really heathly.
I had some salmon sushi and the vegetable noodles, and both were great and tasted really fresh and i could even treat myself to a glass of wine as i'd been so good!
Want to go back now!
Love it!!!
I can't get enough of their salmon noodle bowls, i know i should try another one but i love it too much to not have it whenever i go.
I do alter what sides i have though, sometimes i have the sushi, the small seaweed rolls, or the chicken skewers or the vegetable tempura or the chicken wings. They're all fab and i can't wait to my next visit!
I think all the food here is excellent, i have been a few times, so have tried different things off of the menu. When i feeling really hungry the rice or noodle dishes are really good, i normally go for the chicken ones and the chicken is always really tender. I normally have the dumplings with it as well, which are good and you can choose what filling you want.
If i'm picking sushi then my favourites are the large rice rolls (without the seaweed) with duck inside them. Or the large seaweed roll with crab inside.
Chicken wings are also good here.
I can never decide what to have here, have tried different sushi's, though not with the raw fish in them! But the other's are great.

The salads are good & make a good side if your really hungry.
The rice bowls are good, i've tried the chicken curry, chicken teriyaki and the beef. But my fav's are the noodle bowls, can't get enough of them! The chicken, salmon, beef or duck are all fab & you can have either thick or thin noodles, depending on personal taste.

Worth trying, always come out feeling satisified!
I was in Hampstead theatre, so decided to give it a try.
The decor seemed very commercial and lacked any character. So was the food. The tempura was too oily and the Edamame tasted if it was microwaved. Some of the rolls were not tight enough. If you really care about Sushi, I can recommend:

I like to stay in shape, and Sushi is a great option. Their salads are always fresh, and I like their dressings. If I am looking for something more filling, then I'll have some sushi too, which I love, and is really nice here. The drinks are a bit pricey, but the food is all really good value.
