Kwan Thai is an authentic Thai restaurant located in the smart surroundings of Hay's Galleria. They have standard Thai favourites on the menu, but some interesting chef's specials add variety. The restaurant decor is smart, but the main feature is the river view through the large windows which give the restaurant a light and airy feel. They can cater for private parties of up to 200 people. A takeaway and delivery option is also available.

I can't quite put my finger on Kwan Thai. The location is great, right on the riverside and the food is well executed and the set menus offer reasonable value: Satay, prawn spring rolls, a selection of meat curries and vegetables all of which are perfectly acceptable. It is just a little soulless. Acceptable, just bland.
