I can't wait to go back!! The food was very typical Italian and the ambience was lovely. We had dinner there before a play and then came back for dessert. Which wasn't a dissapointment at all. They have a live singer....and most people felt like dancing just because we all felt like we were part of a big party.

I highly recommend it!

This place is great! Being on Borough St, the takeaway section is always packed around lunchtime with local businessmen and students lined up outside for some great homely food. It makes a change from all the junk food around. This place seems to be a healthier and more tasty option, not to mention cheaper. They do great lunchtime meal deals with any pasta dish with chips and a drink for around £3.50? The portions are very generous, and can easily be shared between two people. Despite only ever having tried the vegetarian lasagne, they do offer a wider variety of italian styled food from panini's, sandwiches, bagels and lots of pasta dishes.

Giuseppe's is so much fun - imagine a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with great no-nonsense food. It's the kind of place where you go for a quiet meal and by the end of the night you have made friends with not only the waiting staff, but also the guys sat on the table next door. There is a live singer every night, and on Fridays the restaurant stays open to 2.30am for dancing!! A great night out...
