Reviews for Takari

TAKARI INDIAN RESTURANT, London Excellent value with the toptable offer, good food and ambience. Service - a very likable and competent manager was training a new girl, but overall very good. Would recommend for group dining. .

Takari London - loved it! Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. Service was a bit hit and miss. Highly recommend the mixed grill platter - perfect if you can't make up your mind what to order. Haddock with crab was lovely and my boyfriend enjoyed his lamb chops with vindaloo spices. Really wanted to try the indian banana tarte tatin but was just too full to order more! Will definitely be back.

Went to Takari restaurant for a special occasion and the staff were extremely helpful in fulfilling our needs. We brought balloons and confetti for the table and staff were only too happy to accommodate our requests. The food was lovely and the set menu deal we got through toptable was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Takari to others.

The staff at Takari were very attentive, had an excellent knowledge of all the food & drinks. The sampled cocktails went down very well. The unusual accompaniment to the board of fresh whole vegetables was delicious giving cucumbers & tomatoes a different twist, & the broccoli starter was a smashing hit! We all ordered the different mains on the set menu & shared & still have huge amounts left over! A wonderful evening we hope to repeat again very soon!

Takari London is a fine example of modern Indian cuisine, an engaging and diverse menu is loaded with modern takes on classic dishes, all exquisitely presented. The service is excellent and the setting equally suitable for a romantic dinner or business lunch.

5 of us had an early dinner (after a theatre matinee) at Takari Restaurant , London last night. We found the set menu of 2 or 3 courses excellent value, with each of our choices delicious and well-presented. The service was professional, but friendly at all times. will be going back soon.

I had dinner at Takari yesterday night, I am not from london but I had to meet a couple of chinese business partener in town. After reading a couple of review on london eating, I asked my secretary to book a table there. I haven t been disapointed at all : as soon as we go in, the waiters welcomed us with a great smile. As we were a bit early, we order a bottle of champagne, they do have quite a nice and not common champagne for the price called moutard 6 cepages. I must say that this dinner was quite important for me and have to especially tell thank you to the takari who made my guest vey confortable and confident. We ordred the roti salmon and cheese, the lamb rib and the pomelo salad, everything was great and matched very well vith the champagne we hadnt finished yet. As a main, my parteners choose the lamb shank and the beef rendang, i took the ayam berisi. The 2 curry dishes were a bit spicy but it was like something special and original. My main course was perfectly cooked and the mix between prawns and chicken was delicious.

I was full but to satisfy my guest, i orderd some desert, the kek kachang is cetainly one of the best desert ever made, The waiter recomend us to order roti tissu, quite spectacular presentation. I advise everyone to try it.

The service is very good, from the beginning to the end. the food is nice and the atmosphere is quite enjoyable. I ll definitively come back

We had a lovely meal at Takari London for my birthday. Despite having a later booking at 9:15, the restaurant was busy and packed full with excellent service. I loved the food- especially the tomato, cumin lmb curry and I will definitely be coming back for more!

It had been a while since we last went to the Takari, but this visit was a pleasant surprise that the food was still as we remembered it good quality. Also the chef was able to make us a special fish curry which was not on the menu, the sevive was excellent will be going back very soon

Takari, Covent Garden: Takari is situated in a great location only a few mins away from Holborn station. It was my first time my friend and I had ventured to this restaurant we were overwhelmed by our experience. The food was mouth wateringly delicious and we were spoilt for choice and this was coupled by exceptional service from the staff. The ambience was more than pleasant and i would be happy to recommend this choice to anyone
