Food here is superb- not too salty and very fresh ingredients. The staff are warm and friendly. At the moment there has been a big promotion, so they are packed and take-aways take a lot longer than usual to arrive, but I just factor in that it will take an hour and order early. I have also found delays with Yien and Big Bowl deliveries lately, people must be staying in more! In my opinion, this is the best of the curry restaurants in this area. Enjoy!

This is an excellent restaurant. I love going out for an Indian meal and in the area of Highgate / Muswell Hill I have sampled quite a few different experiences. But Alexandra Tandoori always gives the perfect dining experience and for that reason I dont go anywhere else with my curry partner! The service is friendly, unassuming, and really importantly not pushy in ordering more food and therefore spending more. The drinks were ice cold, popadoms crispy and dips plentiful (how i like it - another restaurant gives no were near enough in quantity of these which annoys me), and the dishes are always piping hot and fresh tasting, and not just runny stuff with a few bits of meat in it. I like to visit on a Friday or Saturday evening and it really is a pleasant atmosphere to be in. I always leave thinking I got a good deal and that I would come again.
