For those who enjoy spicy foods - Nando's will not fail to deliver. Choose from a choice of tangy and mildly marinated chicken dishes, or if you're feeling brave, opt for a dish marinated in their famous and dangerously hot Peri-Peri sauce. They also cater for vegetarians, and the desserts are to die for. There's something for everyone at Nando's.

Reviews for Nando's Chickenland

I really really like Nandos generally. I love chicken so this is the perfect place for me. Especially the grilled type. In this Aldgate branch, the food was to the same high quality that I am used to with other Nandos in London. The rice was fluffy, and had good taste, and the chicken was cooked through (I have on occasion had some not coked properly). In fact it was a bit over cooked, which happens quite often in Nandos, but is better over than under. Overall I would recommend this Nandos, the service was also pretty good, fast and friendly just what I expect.

If you're looking for a inexpensive meal thats fast served in a funky restaurant then Nando's is the one for you. The concept is pretty cool; you order your food at a counter and wait for it to be served. This kinda makes it feel like a fast food restaurant.

However the food is always good, I've never had any problems, and the chicken and chips in a hot sauce is always a must for me. The service is great and hassell free, and the restaurant is always clean and fresh.

The atmosphere is lively which is helped by the portuguese music thats played overhead. and the kitchen is part open so you get to see some of the cooking, especially the grill.

(make sure you get a loyalty card which give you free food the more visits you make.)

Nando's is great value for money. Nando's is a traditional Portuguese restaurant offering an eat in or take out service to it's customers. In nando's you pay for your food first then wait for it to be brought to you by a waiter which is unusual as in other restaurants you pay after you have eaten the meal. There are often long queues but once you have ordered your food it does arrive quickly by a friendly waiter. Staff are professional and nice. And the restaurant has a very authentic Portuguese feel to it. Do not miss out on this wonderful tasting food! Ever!

...if you'd like the idea of dining in a 'classy' version of a motorway service station...then this is it (no car required!)

Poor value, unexciting, uninspiring, badly presented, poor service (well, you actually serve yourself for most of the meal!...and all they do is bring the food...late or incorrent!), greasy uninspiring chips/fries (like badly fried ovenchips!), bland overcooked chicken (which, incidentally seems to be the **battery intensively farmed** kind as all they say about their meat is that it's "never frozen, and Grade A"...so very unlikely that it's free-range, organic local or well looked after!

Avoid.

Seems like you can't move these days without tripping over a Nandos, I have heard they use the entire output of Mozambiques chili growers in their peri peri sauce, though that could be a lie.

This branch is new, clean, well designed and decorated and the food tastes pretty much like it would at any other Nandos. The staff were very polite and on our visit (saturday lunchtime) it was pretty much empty - though I'm told its busier during the week what with city being so close.

I am a fan of chicken, chips and chili sauce so I like Nandos, if you don't you'd be better off at one of the other plethora of eating establishments in the area.
