And now for something completely different
I confess I had never actively thought of seeking out Polish food but a friend who is a savvy Maryleboner had spotted this place and suggested trying it out.
Starapolska oozes gastronomic adventure, from the unusual rustic ski-lodge style setting a menu full of intriguing combinations I have never had before like Gherkin soup (the soup of the day), mountain smoked sheeps cheese and various combinations of herrings, sauerkraut, beetroot, polish noodles and a whole variety of rustic sounding meat options.
If you are seeing something completely different then this is worth a bash.
