I went to Khaana, a new curry house in Catford's Rushey Green and was knocked out by the beautiful decor- and the food was first class- not swimming in oil, but was healthy, fresh and authentic home style cooking. I havn't tasted anything like it since I was travelling around Pakistan, Kashmir and India the other year. I am going to go again to this jewel in the crown of Catford- just to experience the amazing mirrored mosaic everywhere and fresh, clean, contemporary style! The service was friendly and attentive and the restaurant child-friendly- Our child was offered a chalkboard to draw on and kids books to read. You can also go there just to chill with a coffee or glass of wine or beer and read their newspapers.
