I’m not totally sure how I would categorise Strada. It is a chain of fabulous places that sell Italian food. However its not just a great restaurant. Its also a good meeting place, a fantastic café and a perfect place for breakfast! If I were to have a choice between carluccios or strada for breakfast, I would always opt for Strada. You will get far more food for less money and the taste is the same if not better. Service is also far superior in Strada. The views in this particular one are also fantastic although you do need to venture upstairs! I love it lots!

Despite living nearby, I had not ventured into strada in my own area, but I have been to several others in towns where friends live. I have always enjoyed meals in this chain of restaurants and the service has always been good, so I was keen to see if this particular restaurant of the strada chain lived up to the reputation the company had built up for itself. I am pleased to report that it does, in bucket loads! The view from upstairs, especially at night is so romantic and is a fabulous place to take your partner for a romantic meal. The service is also great and the food is delicous

If you ever get the chance to have your meal upstairs, i say you should go for it! The view is fantastic and will really make a romantic meal become a fabulous one, especially in the evening with the london lights. I can;t rate it highly enough! Its also always a good sign when you see italian customers eating in an italian resaurant - it proves the food is authentic! This is exactly the case with this particular Strada. When we went there were several italian customers. The food here is gorgeous and i love their pizza's! Prices are also fair considering the area

As a chainof restaurants, i really like strada. They have a wide range of choice, a menu that will meet all discerning palates and one of the best views on the river thames! Service here is excellent and you never have to wait long to get the waitresses attention, for your food or drinks or for you bill, however be warned, service is added to the bill whether you like it or not. Can you refuse to pay that? Don;t know, but it is well earned. The food is cooked to perfection and their pizzas are amazing. I love this place and will definately be going back!

After a hard day of massaging, all a therapist wants after work is a home cooked meal. That's what our meal was like on Sunday - I just wanted to go home my daughter met me after work and insisted we go out to eat. Big fans of the Strada on the embankment, she spotted Strada in Oxford Circus whilst shopping.

Traditional lemonade, piping hot mash (potatoe puree), green beans and gorgeous sage in butter and wine sauce chicken (heaven). Atmosphere cosy not squashed, we were really hungry and watched others receiving their food thinking ooh we'll order that next time but not at all disappointed by our food which did not take long to arrive piping hot. Definiately going again, just wanted to curl up and go to sleep after our meal. Lovely staff too!!!!! Reasonable price service included on bill.

When we arrived at this restaurant we were slightly put off by the lack of customers. 'Surely the place is more popular than this?', we thought. However, we were greeted at the door by a staff member who immediately asked if we would like to eat upstairs and take advantage of the lovely view of the Thames. All was explained! Upstairs was bustling, busy and entertaining - and the food was really great!

One of the nicest Strada's I have been to, because of this view!
