Reviews for Bistrotheque

i have been here a couple of times and the food is always delicious but way over-priced. I love the way the "seasonal vegetables" is autumn were roast vine tomatoes - maybe seasonal in spain! we waited for a long time to get our drinks but they were delicious when they came, as was my steak tartare. we had a fun night so didn't mind the massive bill at the end, though i would rather go to LMNT in the future!

Attentive, fun and predominantly handsome staff in a beautiful, unfussy, low-key space, hidden away as all good date/affair venues should be.
Fine food in a sort of Francophone way - robust, unfuddled around with and confident. Great value midweek specials, tasty wine, great buzzy dining room.
Sexy (borderline seedy) bar downstairs to finish you off. Such a treat.
It's all just very tastefully executed.

Smashing place for Saturday brunch or dinner. Nice decor and friendly staff...they do a mean cocktail too.

Quite hard to find, and it's a bit of a trek to get there but once you're there it's fab...

Bistroteque is one of my favourite London restaurants - and at just about the right level of trendy. Great food and entertainment with a camp twist, a late night bar and a cute theatre mixing a bit of cabaret with a dash of live art. Perfect for friends, dates and family occasions.

Bistroteque has only one glitch... it's located in the middle of nowhere and it's not so easy to find!
Now the good news! They serve French food and it taste really nice. They have a good selection on wines and the place is absolutely cool.
It's the right place to go with friends or even with your partner.
For some things they are bit too much "nouvelle cousine" but it's nothing major. You can see the kitchen where the chefs will create your meal and that gives me a good feeling... Everything is nice and clean and - again - food and wine are very good!
The bill... well, not very cheap but not particularly expensive. If you are around 30 quid per person (including wine) you're almost sure you will be full and satisfied.
