Best fish and chips in London!
Discovered this place several months ago and I can honestly say that it is the best fish and chips I have eaten. Restaurant is opposite the park, and is lovely to visit on a beautiful day, especially if seated outside. Inside of the restaurant is pleasantly decorated and the ambience is lively, mostly filled with couples and families. The portions are very generous and well worth the money. It costs around £9 for a portion of fish and chips, which comes with mushy peas and tartare sauce. I ordered the haddock and it was bigger than my plate! The chips are also very, very good but I could not finish them all and had to ask to take the rest home. The menu also offers a wide variety of fresh fish dishes which I will be keen to try next time. The desserts served here are divine. The melting chocolate pot seems a bit steep at around four quid but it was wonderful. In general, this is a fantastic place, I only wish it was closer so I could go there more!
