  Iznik isn't all it

  I hate my first review to be a bad one but it had to be done.
  This weekend I went to Iznik in Highbury Barn after reading a reccomendation in Time Out. So my expectations were high and when I entered the restaurant with its hanging lanterns from the ceiling, glowing lights, and pretty table cloths it looked like a good meal was about to be had.
  However, althugh the menu seemed to offer tasty helpings of food what arrived was pathetic servings of tasteless meat and rice. Even the 'platter' we started with, which I was worried might be like the usual feast of a meze, was enough for one person!
  So I'm afraid we were all very disappointed, the males I was with even left the restaurant still hungry.
  Think I'll be heading to the green lanes next time.
