Reviews for Farshad Restaurant
this place has become my second home. Their food is fresh and tasty. portions are massive. the chops are the best i've tasted.
outside area is really chilled. they do shisha. try mint and grape shisha.
people are so friendly including staff and other customers. honestly i've not bn to a place like this before.
it's good if you wanna go somewhere eat and chill for a couple of hours. you know how some places u go n you feel like you have to leave after a u fini?well you dont feel like that here.
I've been to this restaurant several times and I think it's lovely!
To start with, the food is delicious. Everything I have tried has been really fresh and full of great flavours. I hadn't had much Iranian food before I went there but now I'm addicted! I think the portion sizes and prices are good.
My favourite place to sit is the outside seating area at the front of the restaurant. It is so cosy with cushions and candles and the people that run it are so friendly and welcoming.
I think the most interesting time to go is late at night at the weekends because about 12pm lots of people turn up and everyone mixes and socialises with each other outside. It sounds a bit strange but it's actually really nice and everyone I've met has been really interesting and friendly and I've always had a good time.
The first thing to mention about this restaurant is the food was wonderful.
I've been twice, and both times I have indulged in the "house special", consisting of a piece of koobideh minced lamb kebab, and a pile of 8 baby lamb cutlets! Really tasty grilled flavour, with a grilled tomato and fluffy rice to go with!
The service is very friendly, and the waitress gave advice on the dishes to choose for starters.
Last evening when I went (Saturday), the place had a large private party, but there was also live Iranian music and belly dancing, so the atmosphere was very lively (read: noisy). We still had a good night out though!
We paid £60 for as much food as we could eat (and we still had some to take home), with tea and doogh yogurt drinks included. I would regard this as good value for the sheer amount of good quality lamb consumed!
I went here for a birthday in May and had a wanderful time! the food was lovely and the service was great. They put on live music and there was dancing, we were treated very well, almost as if we were the only people there! the only disappointment was that their belly dancer didnt arrive...
I don't think this restaurant deserves any star. We had recently meal there. The food was very badly prepared, the amount of food was small for the price they asked, and we could not even finish it because of the dryness and bad taste. We have been to many other Iranian restaurants and never had such a bad experience.
