Oliveto manages to be sophisticated without being pretentious, so that while the interior is chic and well designed it's still a great place to bring kids. The food is much the same, quite simple but with interesting twists and always well prepared and delicious.

Sea Urchin, truffles, Bottarga, crab and the best pizzas in London... the water is always warm, and the chairs are very hard, but the restaurant is always packed and the staff are wonderful... a firm favourite.

Quite a nice modern atmosphere but not over the top and the pasta I ate at Oliveto was pretty nice.
Service was good and the restaurant seemed fairly popular.
I thought it lacked a little something special though, perhaps the atmosphere is not really my style and the pasta did not get me overly excited. I would go back though, perhaps I'd try the pizza next time.
