Aubaine have obviously taken onboard the local lunchtime clientele. They now offer two courses plus a glass of wine for £9.95 which, given the quality of the food, is really good value.

Tucked away on Heddon Street, this is the sister restaurant to the South Kensington one. It is simply furnished with zinc topped tables and offers a good selection of well coooked French dishes, as well as a patisserie.

At lunchtime there is a fixed price menu, either a salad or dish of the day, priced at £9.50 or £11.50 including a glass of wine.

There is a winebar downstairs, I haven't tried it yet so can't comment.

Thanks for the tip. I like the South Ken one, but had no idea that it had a sister one in the centre. Will try it out.
