  I've walked past 222 for the past few years always wondering what it's like, it never seems to be short of custom whatever day of the week it it.
  
  The place itself has the feeling of eating in someone's front room, the food on the other hand is brilliant. I must admit that I'm not one to really acknowledge food that doesn't have any meat in so it was a pleasant surprise when this amazing Porcini mushroom pasta with cashew sauce arrived - it tasted amazing!
  
  If you ever find yourself in this part of town you should try it out. It's friendly, relaxing and a breath of fresh air.

  Cheap n Cheerful Vegetarian Restaurant

  A grand place for a 5.95 eat-in or 4.95 take-out buffet that is simple, tasty and vegetarian.
  
  I arrived a little late on a Sunday afternoon, 2pm, and was a little swindled by a few empty salad options (that irritatingly looked like the best ones) but the chick-pea curry was good enough to return my sense of humour.

  My girlfriend took me here for my birthday dinner, and I have to say it was the nicest plate of food I've had in a long time. I had a "Ben's Special": a spiced West Indian stir-fry dish with mixed vegetables, seitan and tofu, on a bed of rice. Perfect portion size, which filled me up but left room for the delicious fruit salad. Good range on the menu, and the service was excellent - I will definitely revisit.

  Easily the best Vegan (Vegetarian) food I've ever had in the UK. The flavours, presentation, and service were excellent. Although a small restaurant, we didn't really need a reservation. *everything* on the menu is vegan, which is a huge plus for your vegan friends who normally have to select from a thin slice of a place's menu.
