they are a chain, thats right but bella italia is not some restaurant around the corner, most of the restaurant i know, they have central kitchen's and deliver the sauces every 2 or 3 days, this restaurant they want to keep the local tradicional italian restaurant on...and that is great. amazing pasta and pizza.

I have been to quite a few Bella Italia restaurants in London and to be honest I can't fault them. Yes, they are a chain and you aren't going to find anything unique from one Bella Italia to another. However, the food is great and the service is very good. We went to the Bella Italia in Leic Square last night. We mentioned that we needed to leave within 45 mins to see a show and asked if they could accomodate that- they certainly did! Food was served very quickly and was great. Lasagne - highly recommended. The service is very good, slightly slower when busy ( as you can imagine) but staff are very attentive and we will definitely be returning. The place is Leics Square is probably best on the warmer nights as you can sit outside and watch the world go by. A definite place to recommend for all types of groups/ages etc. Prices- I'm afraid I have to disagree with those who may think this place is expensive -£8 for a lasagne and this being an average price, I think is very good for great food in the heart of london!

Bella Italia in Leicester Square is a trusted restaurant with high quality Italian food served often by ehnic Italian servers.

The food is brilliant, with generous servings and high intensity flavours. The pizzas are brilliant.

The Ciabatta starter is exquisite with the best quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip it in. A must for everyone!

the service is prompt and friendly, with special dishes being explained carefully.

Drinks are offered at regular intervals and you do not have to wait for the bill or drinks refills.

the toilets are clean and well maintained.

A lovely place to eat!

A very good italian restaurant! lots of them to choose from in liecester square.
good value for money as the food is really good!
definately recommend going here

Bella Italia is a chain of Italian restaurants, you are spoilt for choice of which one to go to in Leicester Square! They have very nice food, good quality it's a bit expensive but worth it. There is a good choice on the menu and it is often fairly busy.
