Reviews for Inn Noodle

I think Inn noodle is one of the few places that make their own fresh noodles and it's a refreshing change. You can even watch them going at it through the window on Oxford Street. We wandered in on a cold rainy day and it was lovely sitting there with hot chinese tea.

I opted for soup noodles with wantons and Keith had soup noodles with Char siu. My soup was slightly bland but I still enjoyed it as I was nursing a cold that day and didn't fancy strong flavours. You get 5 fairly large wantons made with pork and vegetables. Fairly nice but not amazing. The Char siu was pretty good though. We also got some steamed pork dumplings which were fantastic, each a parcel full of meat with delicious juices oozing out.

On the service side of things, it was pretty standard for a chinese place i.e. the food came out whenever it was ready and not all together but they were fast and efficient. Our bill came to £20.

Note: The toilets were really cramped, the doors seemed to open up in the wrong way and is right next to the kitchen door which opens outwards so it's pretty dangerous.

So here's my take on this great little place. Food all seems to be freshly prepared - and the place has a really varied selection.

We ordered WAY too much - and worryingly seemed to get through it all. The set menu is cheap too if you want to REALLY save the pennies. This is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants to be found in London.

If you're in town and you want some great Chinese food this is the place to go for a supremely good quick fix.

Amazing show to be enjoyed through the window of this restaurant on Oxford Street... The chef is playing, stretching, punching his dow to make it just perfect for fresh noodles or dim sums. The food itself is fine, without being outstanding, but at least you have the insurance that what has landed in your plate has been made and cooked on premise. It is a mixture of noodles either in soup or dry, and Chinese ravioli. Prices are more than OK, especially for the area.
