I had never heard of this place on the forums and review sites i visit. Its near a friends house and he dragged me there one night. I' so glad he did, i had a fantastic evening! You have quite a wide choice of food, not so much for the vegetarians among us, but still plenty of choice. The dishes we had were really well cooked and presented beautifully too - something i didn't expect. The service was also spot on - not too in your face and not totally absent either! Price wise its a fantastically cheap place to eat at, so you find yourself eating too much! I will definately go again!

This place is great. It was recommended to me by a friend who lives outside of the area, and I couldn’t believe it was so close to my house, but I’d never taken advantage of it.
I’ve been back a couple of times since, and will definitely go again. The set menu is great value at £12.50 for three courses, with a steak supplement of £2.50.
Definitely go for the steak though, a lovely piece of meat with perfectly cooked French fries. It’s a great place to spend an evening with friends, but I enjoyed myself so much and drank so much red wine the bill wasn’t quite as cheap as I hoped even with the bargainous set menu.
It’s a little bit in the middle of nowhere – not quite Crouch End, more Hornsey, but that’s almost what makes it special. Definitely worth the trip.
