I have never eaten in, but as my Chiswick local front-runner 'Annapurna' do not deliver I have found the slightly more expensive 'Tandoori Nights' to be the next best thing.
The Lamb Madras, Lamb Pasanda, Dal Soup AND of course, the Tandoori Grills are my regular favourites.

Over the years I have had MANY deliveries/Take-Aways from such places as:

Agni
The Bombay Bicycle Club
Tiffin Box
Himalayan Spice
Shilpa
Tiffin & Fresco
Taste of Raj
Deliverance
Red Onion
Green Chilli

Tandoori Nights have been better than ALL of them as far as good, authentic Indian food AND reliable, prompt delivery is concerned. Only 'Anarkali', which is just a few doors away, has a comparable standard with such an authentic and varied menu.

The worst restaurant experience - definitely one to avoid - rude stuff, food wasn't fresh, no ambience (a massive restaurant and on a Friday night there were only 3 tables of people - not surprising now!)
