Reviews for Beirut Express

I have been frequenting the Beirut Express on my trips to london, the wraps are very tasty and excellent value for money. Everything is cooked fresh and you can see the chefs take great pride in their work. Not often a write a review - made the effort this time.

I frequented this place during my time at the Uni and go there still with my bf. We both love the falafel wraps, so fresh and piping hot.

Great value, great taste & healthy

Of course the staff is usually curt but the food makes up for it

Had a fab dinner at Beirut Express last night - it’s one of my regular favourites. Fabulous lebanese food, with quick service, and quality ingredients.

Just one warning - the portions are generous, so be careful not to over-order. If you’re still hungry once you’ve finished you can always order more and it’ll be on your table in just a couple of minutes.

I’ll be back there in a week or two, no doubt.

I come here quite often as it is close to work. You can sit by the bar and eat your sandwiches/sharwarma at lunch without all the fuss of eating at the tables. Everything is very fresh and fragrant. I would usually have a mixed sharwarma - which consists of marinated lamb and chicken grilled meat from the spit roast, with tomatoes, mayonnaise and gerkins wrapped with lebanese bread. Absoultely delicious with all the different flavours and textures combined- and also very filling so its enough for lunch and only £4! I brought my Chinese friend here the other week so he could try lebanese food and he loved it. I've also eaten the vine leaves, tabouleh and hummous and a few other plates for dinner. Reasonable prices and it is very healthy foods. Another nice thing is that like tapas or Dim Sum, you can select a few dishes to share amongst friends.

This is part of the Maroush empire.
I had a chicken shawarma then a portion of falafel which arrived very nicely decorated...
for the finale I had a small plate of baklava and fresh mint tea (not enough mint though...)
The baklava was on the house. This is not a gourmet food but it is simple and usually quick.
I liked the fact that you can seat and eat on the bar.
Don't be surprised if one of the waiters sighs or being not formal- it is part of the charm...
Trust-able!
