Bellevue Rendezvous is a new French restaurant on the site of local favourite Mini Mundus. It has a fresh, pastoral look to suit the new name and location, just by the Common, as well as a new style of cooking, with a set menu featuring Gallic favourites such as duck confit, as well as a regularly changing à la carte. It is a family-run restaurant serving delicious French cuisine to a burgeoning local following. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and the comfortable decor mark this out as a top local haunt.

Reviews for Mini Mundus

Had a lovely lunch here with parents and kids; which can be difficult with an age range of 70 to 1. The food was good quality french style and great value for money.Service was relaxed but attentive; however it was fairly quiet time so can't comment on if it gets busy.
Plus points from the kids aspect was they did child portions of the main meals and childrens meals turned up with our starters.

Will we go back, most definitely!

Note: They were changing the signage outside while we were there. Now to be called "Bellvue Brasserie".

I have been here only once but still it had a very good expression on me. I thought that the food was amazing and even though I have to drive a long way to get here I really dont mind if only the petrol prices were lower. This place is definetly value for money anyday. The atmosphere is very nice and cosy and I hope that I do come here again very soon with my friends. Also I dont know why but the dessert stood out the most.

Overall I reccomend that you do come here to a really authenic french cuisine and you wont be dissapointed

I can't believe we have lived within walking distance of this restaurant for years (actually remember it in its previous incarnation as an Italian), but haven't visited it until last week.

The menu is quite short and changes regularly, and the food was absolutely excellent! I had a very filling cassoulet (delicious, with belly of pork and a duck leg). The cheese selection was vast compared to what you often get even in restaurants that call themselves French, and I was so full that I actually struggled (well, a little bit) with the dessert (apple tart with cinnamon ice cream). And the bill for the whole lot was more than reasonable.

Unusually for a French restaurant they also have a take-away menu, but the extremely friendly atmosphere makes a visit in person certainly worthwhile.

This is now definitely our new favourite French restaurant in London, especially since the Old Clapham has closed down.
