I cannot rate the food in this establishment as we never got to try it.

We had been to a fabulous show so it was just after 10pm when we enquired whether they would be happy to serve us one main with my husband having desert and wine or coffee only. We were told that they could do this, but only if we sat outside as the second person was not having a main.
There were numerous empty tables inside, it was cold and drizzling outside and some of the diners inside were still only starting on their main courses so we would not be putting anyone out by being offered a table inside. We queried this and were told that those were the rules.

We left wondering if the credit crunch and recession had not been heard of in this establishment.

Very doubtful we will ever eat there in future as business sense or even common sense did not seem to prevail!

I have been to the Rock Garden roughly about 3 times and both the food and service is exceptional.All the times that I have been to the rock garden I have sat outside which is a protected covered area to stop the rain soaking you. There is huge heaters on most of the year that ae sometimes a bit too hot and makes my hair feel like its burning! The food is a bit expensive for what you get but is very tasty none the less. There is always a very long queue to be seated especially on Saturday evenings. If you sit outside at night you get a lovely view of covent garden.

Rock Garden is a really nice place to go for a meal, service was really good and a friendly atmosphere, best to sit in the plaza if possible, there are heat lamps if it is quite cold! Food is really nice and have a range of meals on the menu.
