Reviews for Sea Cow - CLOSED
Sea cow are conscious of being green. They use their cooking oil to fuel their vans and all their fish is from either Billingsgate or from the south coast.
Inside, you can squash onto the chuncky wooden benches if you want to sit in. I quite like it but it may put some people off to sit on a table with strangers. They have an excellent variety of fish on their menu with daily specials. All the fish is on ice under a glass counter so you can see what you're going to get. It's all very fresh and there is never any fishy smell.
Fish can be deep-fried, steamed, grilled in different ways. I make sure I always get their minted mushy peas...very tasty indeed. They have a wine list aswell. It's not cheap for fish and chips but it's probably worth it. Takeaway is slighty cheaper and I think you can also buy raw fish from them but I'm not sure.
