Reviews for The Camden Kitchen

One of the first meals I ever had in London was at the Camden Kitchen (incidentally, now called the Camden Bar and Kitchen), and I've been going back ever since. Very little has changed over the last few years and thank god for that. Great food from across the world, all of it cooked like it was made at home and with care.

The jerk chicken, though not as spicy as I'd normally like, is absolutely superb, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Whether it be a special, cosy and romantic night out or for the hangover curing pitchers of bloody mary's with a sunday roast... I love this place!

Whenever I'm in London I always make sure I make a visit to The Kitchen. A funky, relaxed café, the food is great and the staff friendly.
It's great to hear the place is now bookable and as has been suggested before, get the window seat… perfectly romantic.
The Kitchen Breakfast is to die for and anything on the lunch/evening menu is worth your time and money. Yum-my!

The staff are consistently friendly, really relaxed and great food. The Jerk Chicken is lovely, if you're really hungry go for a falafel burger!! Save some room for the chocolate and almond torte though! Or the tequila and lime cheesecake!

They do a great hangover cure breakfast too!

Tables are now bookable. If you are going with a partner, ask if you can have the window seat- it’s a cosy little corner and is quite romantic at night.

Oh!! And why on Earth is there a picture of Paddy Power?!! I assure you it's a lot more attractive than a bookies!! Ha ha!

A really laid back restaurant/cafe/bar. Food great and really good value. Staff friendly and decor mismatched chic - BUT without the usual north London pretensions. Only draw back is you can't reserve tables - I've only been for late lunches in the week so not usually a problem, but the weekend/evenings could be a different matter.
