I'm often dubious of chain retaurants, but I always come away happily surprised by Cafe Rouge, with the reminder not to be so harsh about it in the future when short on options about where to eat.
Salmon Fishcakes and off menu Sticky Toffee pudding were all great. Quaint and relaxed ambiance. Reasonably priced. Meal for three, with two starters, mains, three deserts, but no alcohol came to £77 with tip.
