Al-Dar II

Reviews for Al-Dar II
A small, crowded and cramped little joint on the Kings Road, near the Sloane Square end.
The Lebanese food and fresh juices are terrific and hit the spot every time. It is a cheap, cheerful and convenient place to get a tasty bite to eat. I am a fan of many of their dishes. The falafel sandwich is one of the best I have had - in addition the tabouleh, humous, fatoush salad and banana shakes are all top-notch. The chilli sauce they have on the side is also a winner, so don't forget to ask for that.
Service is a little erratic but once they warm up a bit they can be pretty jolly. If you go in at a normal lunch time it can be packed and have queues...they need an extension!
There are a couple of outdoor tables which is a good spot to watch the world go by, although a little hectic.
This is the second Al-Dar (hence the name Al-Dar II) in a family of at least 3 I know of. The other ones are on Edgeware Road and also High Street Kensington.
